Ebul Manucehr Mosque
The Ebul Manucehr Mosque is regarded to be one of the oldest mosques built by the Turks in Anatolia. This mosque was built by the Shaddadid king Manuchihr at the end of the 11th century following the capture of Ani. The mosque can be found overlooking the Arpaçay River at the periphery of the old town. This monument is notable due to the advent of Islamic architecture in the area.
