Karahantepe
Karahantepe is one of the most ancient known archaeological sites on Earth and is an important part of the Taş Tepeler project carried out in southeastern Türkiye. This site dates back to 9,000 BCE and has been characterized by massive T-shaped stone pillars, carvings of humans, and sacred places, showing the sophistication of the Neolithic age. Karahantepe can be compared to Göbekli Tepe in various ways.
