Sogmatar
Soğmatar is an ancient site located in eastern Turkey. The ancient site of Soğmatar has been identified for its rich history and archaeology. During the Roman era, Soğmatar became an important place due to its religious significance. It was considered a worshiping site dedicated to the moon God, Sin. At this site, people can witness rock-hewn tombs, inscriptions in Syriac, temples, and caves.
