Travertines (Cotton Castle)

About Travertines (Cotton Castle)

The travertines of Pamukkale are dazzling white terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down the hillside for thousands of years.

When hot calcium meet with the cool water, it results in beautiful travertine with warm mineral water, thus creating beautiful and spectacular pools that have always made people come here for ages.

Pamukkale has been on UNESCO World Heritage List since 1988.

Guests can walk with bare feet on terraces and bathe in the warm waters with a gorgeous view of the sky and the landscape applauding the magnificence of this place.

Walking barefoot along the warm, shallow basins offers a surreal experience in one of Turkey’s most iconic natural wonders.
