Agora of Ephesus

Agora of Ephesus was the city’s bustling commercial and political center, where merchants, citizens, and officials gathered daily.

Located near the harbor and Curetes Street, it featured colonnaded walkways, shops, and statues.

Divided into State Agora and Commercial Agora, it played a vital role in Ephesus’ economy and governance.

Though in ruins today, its open layout and surviving columns still reflect the vibrant public life that once thrived in this ancient Roman metropolis.
