Attalia Harbour

Since the Hellenistic period, Attalia Harbour has been the ancient port to the city of Attalia, further developed under the Romans.

Located on the Mediterranean coastline, the harbour was an important point for maritime trading, naval operations, and inter-regional travel. Its sheltered natural geography facilitated commerce between Pamphylia and the broader Mediterranean.

The remains found today within Attalia Harbour represent the commercial and theoning the captured the ancient city of Antalya.
