Burdur Archaeological Museum

Burdur Archaeological Museum has one of the richest collections of antiquities in Turkiye, with many highlights exclusively from the Pisidia area.

Situated within walking distance from the center of town, the museum contains objects of historical significance from archaeological sites such as Sagalassos, Hacılar, and Kremna, all within proximity.

The outdoor and indoor exhibitions display learned objects and artefacts that include sculpture, sarcophagi, coins, and functional objects that date back to human life in the Neolithic age.

The exhibitions of the museum contain the iconic statue of Dionysus and representation of Roman statuary.

The museums's exhibitions help us understand the region and its peoples that lived in ancient southwestern Anatolia.
