Gulhane Park

Gulhane Park is a historic urban park located beside Topkapi Palace in Old City of Istanbul.

Once part of the palace’s outer gardens, it opened to the public in the 19th century during the Ottoman reforms. The park features tree-lined paths, fountains, and seasonal flower displays. Famous Tulip Festival takes place in Gulhane Park each year.

It offers a peaceful space for walking and views of the Bosphorus. Gulhane is also where the Tanzimat Edict was declared in 1839, marking a major step in Ottoman modernization.
