Iztuzu Beach

Iztuzu Beach, also known as Turtle Beach, is a 4.5 km-long sandy stretch near Dalyan on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.

It separates Dalyan River from the sea and is a protected nesting site for endangered loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta).

The beach is accessible by boat or road and remains free of nighttime development to protect the turtles.

Its natural beauty, calm waters, and ecological significance make it one of Turkey’s most unique coastal destinations.
