Karain Cave

Karain Cave, located just 30 km from Antalya, is one of Turkey’s oldest inhabited sites, with evidence of human life dating back over 500,000 years.

It shows a lot about very early human history with its great rock formations and old relics left behind.

This vast prehistoric cave served as a shelter from the Paleolithic to the Roman era. According to the Hellenistic period scripts, the cave was used as a temple back in time. The cave is must to see when one visit Antalya to acquire the history of almost 500 years.
