Konya Dervish Lodges

Konya Dervish Lodges are tied to Rumi and the Mevlevi Order.

These lodges were sacred sites for Sufi learning, music, and devotional practices.

The tekkes bring to mind the ney flutes and the whirling dervishes signifying merging with God. They once provided spiritual education and held deep rituals, poetry, and contemplation.

Now, they are kept as museums and cultural sites which expose the essence of Anatolian Sufism and the eternal yearning for tranquility.
