Old Greek Village of Sille

The Ancient Byzantine Sille is a small village located near Konya.

It was known for its long-standing cohabitation of Turks and Greek people.

The village epitomizes peaceful coexistence with its aged stone houses, churches, and mosques. The remnants of the Byzantine Empire and Ottoman Empire, like The 4th-century Hagia Eleni Church, ancient bridges, and cave chapels were significant in shaping contemporary Sille's culture.

It is still a site for people to visit and walk around the streets of a village shaped by prayer and art and centuries of peace.
