Red Basilica

Located in Bergama, Turkey, Red Hall Basilica , or Kızıl Avlu ⁠as it called in Turkish is an extensive ancient Roman temple complex.

It was a basilica dedicated to the gods of Egypt, later adopted by Christianity.

It is a huge and striking red-brick building with strange architectural features. It is one of the Seven Churches in Asia Minor.
