Rustem Pasha Mosque
Resting over the spice-scented bazaars of Eminonu is the Rustem Pasha Mosque which was built in 1561 by Mimar Sinan.
It was built in the name of Grand Vizier Rustem Pasha prominantly featuring Iznik tile work which is unmatched in its detail and hue.
The interior teems with blue, red and turquoise flowers which turns it into a peaceful art sanctuary.
In spite of its small size the mosque is an outstanding piece of design because it serves beauty, peace and Ottoman grace.
