Meet with your guide in the lobby of your hotel at 09:30am.
You will start tour day by visiting Quincentennial Foundation Museum Of Turkish Jews. This museum was opened first in Zulfaris Synagogue in 2001, and moved to its new location, Neve Shalom Synagogue in 2015.
The museum consists of three floors, presenting 2400 years old historical and cultural heritage of Turkish Jewry. Then you will visit Neve Shalom Synagogue. It has served as a center for religious ceremonies, such as circumcision (berit mila), Bar Mitzvah (13 years of age ceremony), weddings, and so, since 1951.
Later, you will continue with Ashkenazi Synagogue, which is built first as a wooden synagogue in 1866 in its current location. The current synagogue building also dates to the early 1900s.
Your tour guide will tell the story of Camondo Stairs, which was constructed by Abraham Salomon Camondo, a Jewish Ottoman-Italian financier and philanthropist.
Continue to Balat district, where the first Jewish people settled in Istanbul after the Spanish expulsion, Alhambra Decree in 1492.
The last stop will be Ahrida Synagogue, dating from the 15th century.
At the end of the tour, your guide will drop you back to your hotel.
