Ancient Theatre of Halicarnassus
Ancient Theater of Halicarnassus is one of the oldest structures in Bodrum and an exemplary piece of Hellenistic Architecture. The theater, constructed in the fourth century B.C., could seat some 13,000 people at that time and was used for plays and assemblies. The restored seats of the theater and the stage can be seen today overlooking the town of Bodrum and the Aegean Sea.
