Dogubayazit

Sitting close to the eastern border of Turkey, Dogubayazit is overshadowed by the Mount Ararat which is said to be the resting place of Noah's Ark.

Dogubayazit is best known for Ishak Pasha Palace, an 18th century masterpiece Ottoman Persian and Armenian architecture.

The area is historically rich from Urartian relics to remnants of the silk road.

Along with ancient ruins, east Anatolia is vividly displayed through Dogubayazit’s dramatic landscapes.
