Gallipoli Battlefields

Gallipoli Battlefields, spread across Gallipoli Peninsula, are sacred grounds where Ottoman and Allied forces clashed during the 1915 World War I campaign.

There are many cemeteries, monuments, and historic sites dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of these battles: Anzac, British, French, and Turkish.

It was a hard-fought campaign at a great cost of lives on both sides.

The Gallipoli Battlefields are now a major shrine for reflection and commemoration, attracting visitors from all over the world to pay homage to those who served and to learn what the fight was about.

Today, the battlefields serve as a powerful symbol of shared history, peace, and remembrance.
