Hamsikoy Village
Hamsikoy is a village whose charm lies in its green vistas, farmland, mountain air, and traditional countryside atmosphere. Located near the Zigana Pass, the village is surrounded by steep mountain slopes and dense forests, reflecting the topography, culture, and customs of Trabzon highlands.
Because of the local food traditions in the high mountain culture of Black Sea, especially the desserts made of milk, the village is also famous. Hamsikoy with its wooden houses, pleasant cool weather, and mountains, is an excellent place to stop and experience the lifestyle of northeastern Turkey.
