Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and drive to Sumela Monastery. Built on the cliffs of Altindere National Park, the monastery dates back to the 4th century and is dedicated to Virgin Mary

You will explore its remarkable frescoes, monastic chambers, and breathtaking mountain views, while learning about its spiritual and historical significance throughout the Byzantine and Ottoman eras.

After visiting the monastery, we continue our journey through Zigana Pass, one of the longest twin-tube highway tunnels in Europe, and the longest in Turkey. 

The drive offers spectacular panoramas of the highlands, dense forests, and misty peaks that characterize this part of Turkey.

Descending from the pass, we arrive in Hamsiköy Village, a charming settlement famous for its traditional rice pudding (sutlac).

You will have the opportunity to taste this local delicacy and experience authentic Black Sea village life surrounded by serene natural scenery.

Our next stop is the fascinating Karaca Cave, near Torul in Gümüşhane Province. Known for its impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and colorful limestone formations, the cave is one of the most striking examples of natural beauty in the region.

At the end of the tour, we will drive back to your hotel in Trabzon.
