Old Train Station of Edirne
Old Train Station of Edirne is an old railway building in the Karaagac neighborhood, which is close to the Greek border.
Constructed around the beginning of the 20th century, it was the last period of the Ottoman Empire.
The station was influenced by European architecture and its function as a transport hub connecting Istanbul with the Balkans.
Even though the railway service has been discontinued, the building is a landmark of the modern history and the urban development of Edirne.
At the present time, it is an element of the cultural landscape of Edirne.
