Ramp of Troy ll
Troy II’s Ramp is an entrance to upper citadel and a site of urban development and construction mastery from the Bronze Age, around 2500 BCE.
Troy II is thought to have existed during King Priam’s rule and was a powerful settlement. Its steep stone-paved ramp going up to the citadel was made with large limestone blocks, and it served to enhance footing for carts and warriors entering the city, and even for ceremonial processions.
