Tomb of Orhan Ghazi

Orhan Ghazi's tomb is situated in the Tophane quarter of Bursa and is the memorial of the second sultan of the Ottoman Empire.

Orhan Ghazi is well, known for his contributions in the Ottoman principality becoming a structured state and making Bursa its first capital.

The tomb is built on the location of an old Byzantine monastery and, through its minimalist architectural form and the religious vibe created inside, it brings the story of the early days of the Ottoman dynasty, giving a glimpse of the family's first steps.
