Trabzon Hagia Sophia Museum
Trabzon Hagia Sophia Museum is medieval Byzantine construction with an epic view of the Black Sea. The architecture, stone sculptures and symbols in church reflects an artistic tradition of Byzantine sculptures. The church was built in the 13th century Empire of Trebizond.
The windows and the hand worked structural of the museum merged the history of the Pontic, the first Christian arc with the church in Northeastern Asia Minor. The Murrow, the diverse work and the marble from the architecture describe the culture of Trabzon and its importance and pinpoint flow of the commerce that the town was settled in.
