Uludag

Uludag, the tallest mountain of western Turkey, features prominently as a major natural landmark that towers just south of Bursa.

Its historical name was Mount Olympus of Mysia. The mountain has always been appreciated for its woodlands, mountain weather, and veins of water.

Now it is a conservation area designated as Uludag National Park with many different species of plants and animals being preserved.

During winter, it transforms into the main ski resort of Turkey and in the summer people come for hiking, picnicking, and the fresh air that is found in the mountain as opposed to the city of Bursa.

All these sides of nature of Uludag define Bursa's natural face.
