Zigana Pass
Zigana Pass is a high mountain crossing in the Black Sea region. It connects the mountains and valleys of Gumushane and Trabzon. It presents the steep, alpine forest and seasonal misted mountains of the northeast of Turkey. It creates changes to the top vegetation and to the mountain horizons.
For many centuries, the route has been used by traders, seekers, and inhabitants of the zone, moving to and from the coast and the valleys of the zone.
Today, Zigana Pass is used for sight-seeing. It has a lot of living things and is located close to sight mountains like Hamsikoy and Zigana Plateau.
