Meet your tour guide in your hotel or port to start your tour with the highlights of Istanbul;

Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya, Santa Sofia): See the beautiful Hagia Sophia, admire the great blend of Christian and Islamic influences with the beautiful interior of mosaics and significant history.

Byzantine Hippodrome / Sultanahmet Square: Here is the square where chariot races were held in Roman Empire times, Egyptian Column from Byzantine Empire time. Today German Fountain is the cornerstone of square.

Grand Bazaar and Spice Market: These are two colorful indoor bazaars and have lots of shops offering a variety of spices, rugs, purses, flavored teas, jackets, Turkish delight, nuts, as well as ceramics, and small souvenirs.

Blue Mosque: Built in the early 1600s for Sultan Ahmet I, Blue Mosque is truly a magnificent masterpiece of architecture with amazingly delicate proportions for a building of such massive scale. The blue shade of the 27.000 pieces of Iznik quart tiles gives the mosque its popular name and 6 towering minarets give its uniquely recognizable structure.

Bosphorus Cruise: Take the public ferry for Bosphorus Cruise to see both Istanbul’s European and Asian sides, Galata Tower, Dolmabahce Palace, Rumelian Fortress, old Ottoman villas, Bosphorus bridges, mosques and more.

After Bosphorus Cruise, your Istanbul Tour will be completed and your guide will accompany you on the way back to the hotel.

  • On Fridays, Hagia Sophia is closed between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM, and the Blue Mosque is closed until 2:30 PM.
  • Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate.
  • Guests staying in Sultanahmet are within walking distance of the main attractions, so private van service may offer limited benefit.
  • If private van service is not selected, the guide will meet guests on foot at centrally located hotels.
  • For hotels outside the city center, the meeting point will be in front of the German Fountain unless private van service is booked.
  • An additional charge will apply for private van service to hotels located outside the city center or on the Asian Side.
