Starting with a short visit to Arkas Art Urla, guests experience a beautiful collection of European Art, some historic armor, and a few interesting pieces of Anatolian textiles. Arkas Art is a lovely place to get to know the beginning of Urla's cultural scene.
After that, guests will have a chance to experience the many wine boutiques located in Urla and the surrounding towns. Each tasting, in its own way, is a celebration of place, eco-sustainability, and craftsmanship.
At HUS and Cakir, the wines will speak for themselves. A masterclass of flowing words and music about the art of winemaking will accompany the tastings.
To top things off, visit the Klazomenai Ancient City. There, the history of olive oil will accompany the wine-derived culture of the past. This is an ideal experience for those that appreciate a cultured, customized Aegean shore excursion, focused more beyond the ordinary sightseeing.

Meeting your guide at Kusadasi Port and 2 hours drive to Urla. Upon arrival in Urla, our first stop is Arkas Art Urla, a refined art space showcasing selected works from Arkas Collection. Housed in an award-winning stone building, the museum presents European paintings, sculptures, armor, tapestries, and Anatolian carpets, offering an inspiring introduction to Urla’s cultural depth.
Our first wine experience takes place at HUS Winery, a family-run boutique winery where sustainability and a strong sense of place guide every step of production. A guided tasting of five wines and a cellar visit offer insight into the winery’s distinctive approach.
Our next stop is Cakir Winery, where we begin with a six-wine tasting accompanied by a carefully selected cheese platter. After the tasting, we visit the vineyard and cellar to learn about the winery’s production process, including French oak barrel aging and the use of local grape varieties such as Bornova Misketi and Bogazkere.
On our return journey, we stop at Klazomenai Ancient City, one of the oldest olive oil production centers of the ancient world. The site offers a brief yet fascinating insight into the region’s deep agricultural and commercial history dating back to antiquity.
Finally, we drive back to Kusadasi and transfer to the port, concluding a day that blends art, wine, history, and the unique spirit of Urla.
