Sobesos Roman Bath

Sobesos Roman Baths lie near Sahin Efendi Village in Cappadocia and are part of a rare ancient Roman settlement in the region.

Discovered in the early 2000s, the site includes mosaic-covered floors, a bathing complex, and remains of a meeting hall, revealing the presence of Roman urban culture in central Anatolia.

Unlike the carved landscapes nearby, Sobesos reflects classical influence with its geometric mosaics and stone foundations, offering a different chapter of Cappadocia’s layered past.
