Yildiz Palace

Yildiz Palace is a late Ottoman imperial complex located in Besiktas, on the European side of Istanbul.

Built in the 19th century, it became the main residence of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The palace includes various pavilions, gardens, and administrative buildings spread across a wooded hillside.

Reflecting a blend of Ottoman and European architectural styles, it was both a royal residence and a secure retreat.

Its expansive layout offers insight into the political atmosphere of the late Ottoman period.
