Spice Market (Egyptian Bazaar)
The Spice Bazaar, also called the Egyptian Bazaar, is one of the oldest covered markets in Istanbul, dating back to the 17th century. Among locals, it is called as Misir Carsisi.
Located right in the heart of Eminönü district near the New Mosque, it was once a major hub for goods arriving from the East.
Today, it stands as the second largest market in Istanbul and is known for its colorful stalls filled with spices, dried fruits, teas, nuts, and Turkish delight.
